Antique Fine Gold Gilt Headdress Tiara with Pink Diamanté: C19th France

New to our studio collection this stunning fine antique gold gilt headdress studded with pink diamanté stones.

In the style of a Napolionic era tiara/ headdress, we believe this was made in the 19th century.

The intricate gold gilt leaves has ‘flowers’ picked out in pink diamanté. The large central flower has clear diamanté ‘petals’ with a large pink stone at its center. A row of clear diamantés border the adjustable headband which fixes with a clever slot and pin fastening.

As this headdress is a small crown size we used ribbons at the back to extend the size for our model.

Height: 9.5cm
Diameter: 14cm
Headband end to end: 46cm

Condition: Very good antique condition with an overall patina of age as you woukd expect in an item of this antiquity.
It has 3 missing clear diamanté which I’ve only just noticed on very close inspection.
