An extraordinary pair of hand carved gilded hands holding grape vines dating from the late 18th early 19th century.
We imagine these may have been given as a wedding gift to a betrothed couple but whatever that are extraordinary.
Highly decorative they could be hung holding a swag of material or a pelmet above a small window.
Wherever you decide to put these they would look stunning!
Hand carved, gessoed and gilded we think these may have come from a grand house, probably in France and possibly a wine growing region, hence the grapes.
